Suspect sought in 2016 rape of 11-year-old girl in Queens may be back in the area: officials

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police on Sunday released a photo of a man wanted in the 2016 rape of an 11-year-old girl in Queens, authorities said.

According to the NYPD, 52-year-old Eddie Yos was in a relationship with the child's mother at the time of the alleged rape on June 21, 2016, which was reported to officials at the time.


Investigators recently learned that Yos might be back in the area within the 114th precinct which includes Astoria, Long Island City, Woodside and Jackson Heights.

The suspect, whom police said is "known to frequent the confines of the 114 Precinct," is described as a man with a medium complexion, a heavy build, short salt and pepper hair and a goatee.
