NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD's Hate Crime Task Force is investigating after a man was spit on in a homophobic attack in Hell's Kitchen.
The 57-year-old victim was on W. 42nd Street, near 10th Avenue, on the evening of Oct. 1 when he was approached by another man, police said.
The suspect spat in the man's face and made an anti-gay statement, according to police.
The victim was evaluated by EMS but refused medical attention.
The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspect on Wednesday.
