NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 46-year-old man was stabbed during an unprovoked attack in the basement of a Brooklyn home Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.

The incident happened inside of 845 58th Street in Sunset Park around 5 p.m., according to officials.
The attacker got into the home and stabbed the victim multiple times with a knife in his right shoulder before fleeing the scene, police said.
Emergency responders transported the victim to Maimonides Hospital in stable condition.
The suspect is described as having a light skin complexion, approximately in his 40's, thin build and last seen wearing a black t-shirt, blue ripped jeans, black sneakers and a black hat.
