NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD released surveillance footage Thursday as they seek to identify a suspect wanted in connection with the fatal stabbing of a 33-year-old man in Queens.
It happened at approximately 9:25 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 23, in front of an auto shop located at 220-20 Merrick Blvd. in Laurelton.
The victim, later identified as Jose Scott, was approached by the suspect who stabbed him multiple times in the torso, abdomen, and back before fleeing on foot, authorities said.
EMS transported Scott to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he later died.
The suspect was last seen wearing a gray shirt, green pants, and red slippers.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
