NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD released surveillance footage of a suspect wanted in connection with an armed robbery of a senior couple in Brooklyn early Monday morning.
It occurred at approximately 2 a.m. near the intersection of Franklin Avenue and Lexington Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant.
According to police, a 70-year-old woman and a 68-year-old man were approached by the suspect who brandished a firearm. He then forcibly took the victims' purse and wallet, which contained approximately $900.
The suspect fled the scene on foot, heading westbound on Quincy Street.
