NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD released surveillance footage Friday of a suspect who allegedly followed a woman from a Queens subway station, held a knife to her neck and slashed her.
At approximately 1:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 14, the suspect began stalking a 24-year-old woman on foot after she exited the Jamaica/Van Wyck subway station in Richmond Hill, authorities said.
The suspect then followed the woman to the vicinity of 91st Avenue and 135th Street, where he pulled out a knife and held it directly to her neck, police said. He then allegedly slashed the victim's right hand before fleeing the scene on foot to parts unknown.
The woman traveled by private means to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where she received treatment for her injuries.
