NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police took two men accused of opening fire in a Bronx subway station into custody early Tuesday, according to authorities.
The shooting occurred just after 3 a.m. on the southbound platform of the Prospect Avenue station in the Woodstock neighborhood, police said.
According to the NYPD, the gunman did not strike the intended target and no injuries were reported.
Police took the suspects ages 24 and 20 into custody at the scene.
An investigation is ongoing.
