Suspects robbed teens at gunpoint in Chelsea, attempted to use stolen credit cards: NYPD

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is looking to identify two suspects wanted for robbing two teens at gunpoint in Manhattan then attempting to use the stolen credit cards.

According to police, at approximately 11 p.m. on Saturday, October 2, inside of Chelsea Park, opposite 436 West 27 Drive, a 19-year-old man was approached by one suspect who displayed a firearm and demanded his property.

The suspect removed the victim's iPhone 12 Pro then approached a second victim, an 18-year-old male, and at gunpoint removed his wallet containing credit cards.

The suspect then fled to parts unknown and no injuries were reported.

At approximately 1:40 a.m. on Sunday, October 3, a second suspect individual attempted to use the second victim's stolen credit card in a declined transaction at People's Market, located at 304 Eighth Avenue in Chelsea.

Police describe the first suspect who robbed the two victims at gunpoint as a man with a light complexion, slim build, with tattoos on his arms, last seen wearing a black baseball cap, a black t-shirt, light-colored pants, and black shoes.

The second suspect who attempted to use the stolen credit card is described as a man with a dark complexion, slim build, last seen wearing a yellow ski cap, a denim jacket, blue pants, and brown shoes.
