NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for two male suspects wanted in connection with a burglary that occurred inside a Brooklyn apartment.

It was reported to police that at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 one suspect gained entry to an apartment at a multi-unit residential building in the vicinity of Ocean View Avenue and West End Avenue in Brighton beach by climbing the rear fire escape to a landing from and entered an apartment via an unlocked living room window.


Once inside, he removed $1,100, an Apple watch, credit cards, ID, a laptop valued at $1,200, a collection of 10 colognes valued at a total of $2,000, two wallets valued at $1,000, and eight pairs of sunglasses valued at $5,000 then fled through the window, according to officials.

Police say that aftewards, the second suspect unsuccessfully tried to purchase electronics using the victim's credit card at a Target located at 400 Grand Street on the Lower East Side.
