NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- The NYPD is searching for two suspects in separate attacks against on-duty MTA bus drivers in Brooklyn and Harlem.
Police released images Friday of the suspects in the two attacks, which left both workers hospitalized.
In the most recent attack last Friday morning, a 36-year-old female bus driver was assaulted somewhere in the 75th Precinct, which covers East New York and Cypress Hills.
A man picked a fight with the driver around 11:30 a.m., and as the argument escalated, he punched her in the face, police said.
EMS transported the driver to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County, where she was treated for eye pain.
The second attack happened in Harlem on the evening of April 9.
A 64-year-old male bus driver was working at West 143rd Street and Seventh Avenue at 6:40 p.m. when he was confronted by a "disorderly" woman.
She attempted to throw something at him, causing him to strike his knee on the dashboard, police said.
He suffered minor injuries and was transported by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem in stable condition.
