NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are looking to identify two armed men wanted in connection to a robbery that occurred inside a Brooklyn home earlier this week.

The incident occurred on Monday, August 23, at approximately 6:45 p.m., inside of a residential building in the vicinity of Warren Street and 3 Avenue in Boerum Hill, authorities said.

The suspects knocked on the victims' apartment door, then forced their way inside the apartment when the 87-year-old man opened it, according to police.

One of the men slapped the 87-year-old man in the face and threatened him with a hammer before the two individuals tied him to a chair, police said.

The second suspect pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the 38-year-old woman and her 6-year-old son.

The men placed all three victims inside of a bathroom and fled the scene with $8,000 in cash, a wallet, and a cell phone.

The first suspect is described as a Black man who wore a beige hat, black sunglasses, a gray and white shirt, beige pants and beige shoes.

Police describe the second suspect as a Black man who wore a black baseball cap, a neon green safety vest, a white shirt, blue jeans and black sneakers.
