NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A "suspicious package" found in front of the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday afternoon has been deemed safe, the NYPD said.
The NYPD issued an advisory about a "suspicious package" investigation taking place in front of the museum around 2:55 p.m. on Monday.
Fifth Avenue between East 81st and East 84th streets was closed to traffic and pedestrians as the department investigated.
