NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD has released images Monday of a male wanted in connection with an assault on the subway in Queens last month.
According to the NYPD, the incident happened Thursday, June 11, at approximately 10 a.m. inside the Beach 67th Street subway station in Rockaway.
Investigators say a 15-year-old boy was riding a northbound "A" train when an unidentified individual slashed him in the face and punched him following a verbal dispute. The suspect then fled the station, police said.
The victim was transported to St. John's Episcopal Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
The suspect is described as a man with a dark complexion, approximately 16 to 18 years old, about 6 feet tall with a slender build and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white shirt, gray pants, multicolored underwear, a black knit hat, and a black bookbag.
