Teen arrested in connection to murder while fare evading at Brooklyn subway station

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A teen murder suspect was arrested Friday evening while attempting to enter a Brooklyn subway station without paying, authorities said.

The 17-year-old boy was at the Grant Avenue subway station when he was caught around 6:11 p.m., police said.

Xavier Lowe of the Bronx is wanted in connection to a gunpoint robbery that turned deadly on Sept. 24.

Lowe, who is one of several people tied to the robbery, has 13 prior arrests, according to the New York Post.

The teen was is now facing several charges including murder, manslaughter and robbery.
