NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A 17-year-old boy was fatally shot on a Brooklyn street on Wednesday night, police said.
Officers responding to a report of an assault at the corner of Rochester Avenue and Sterling Place in Crown Heights found the teen unconscious around 9:20 p.m.
The victim had a gunshot wound to his neck, police said. Citizen App video shows police and EMS at the scene.
The teen was rushed to Kings County Hospital, but he did not survive.
His identity has been withheld pending the notification of his family.
No arrests have been reported amid an ongoing investigation, police said.
