NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A man shot and wounded a teen boy near a playground at the St. Nicholas Houses in Harlem early Wednesday morning, police said.
The 16-year-old victim and the 30-year-old man got into an argument near the St. Nicholas Playground at W. 127th Street and Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard just after 2:30 a.m., according to police.
The man pulled out a gun during the argument and shot the teen, striking him in the left foot, police said.
The teen was taken to Harlem Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
Police were still searching Wednesday for the shooter, who they said ran off after opening fire.
