NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police released photos on Friday of five teen boys wanted in a string of subway robberies that occurred in Brooklyn last month.
The first incident took place at about 4:10 p.m. on on Monday, Dec. 2, in the vicinity of 509 East 16th Street in Flatbush. Three teens approached a 14-year-old from behind, displayed a knife and stole the victim's jacket and wallet, valued at $350 before fleeing to parts unknown.
At approximately 3:35 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 5, in the vicinity of 715 East 10th Street in West Midwood, the group of five approached a 14-year-old from behind, displayed a knife, placed it to the victim's throat and took the victim's sweater, sneakers and cell phone valued at $2,180, authorities said. The teens then fled to parts unknown.
The following day at around 4 p.m., four teens surrounded a 14-year-old victim in the vicinity of 1001 Ocean Avenue in Flatbush, displayed a knife and demanded the victim's phone and shoes.
The crew punched punched the victim repeatedly before they fled to parts unknown. The victim sustained minor injuries to their face and neck.
The fourth incident happened at around 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19, in the vicinity of 1630 East 15th Street in Midwood, when five boys approached a 16-year-old victim, displayed a knife and stole the victim's jacket, wallet, backpack and laptop valued at $577. The suspects then fled to parts unknown.
