NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — An 18-year-old man was fatally shot near a Bronx playground on Friday, according to police.
The victim was hit in the chest around 6:22 p.m. at the Magenta Playground on Olinville Avenue near Rosewood Street in Olinville, officials said.
EMS rushed the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi, where he was pronounced dead.
Police have not yet made any arrests, and the shooting is under investigation.
