NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A 19-year-old woman was found dead in an abandoned warehouse in lower Manhattan on Saturday, police said.
The woman's body was discovered wrapped in plastic on the second floor of a building near Fulton and South streets around 9:20 a.m. The building is at the site of the former Fulton Fish Market.
Police told the Daily News that the woman was homeless. She has not yet been identified.
No obvious signs of trauma were found on the woman's body, according to the report.
Police said an investigation is ongoing and that the medical examiner will determine the woman's cause of death.
