NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD released photos Tuesday of a suspect wanted in connection with the slashing of a teen boy on a Brooklyn street last week.
The suspect is described as a male approximately 16 to 18 years old, authorities said.
It happened at about 5:50 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 19, when a 14-year-old boy was walking in front of 2931 Avenue X in Sheepshead Bay.
According to police, the boy was approached by the suspect who first questioned the victim, then proceeded to punch him repeatedly and subsequently slashed his arm with an unknown sharp object.
The suspect fled southbound on Avenue X.
The victim suffered a laceration and was transported to Mount Sinai Brooklyn where he was listed in stable condition.
