NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A woman was hit with a glass bottle and robbed on a Greenwich Village street this week by a trio of teens, police said Thursday as they released surveillance video of the suspects.
The 40-year-old victim was walking on W. 10th Street, between Fifth and Sixth avenues, at 8 p.m. Tuesday when she was attacked, according to police.
As the woman was talking on her phone, three teenage women approached her and struck her in the back of her head with a glass bottle, causing her to fall into a flower box, police said.

The teens stole the victim's iPhone from her hands and took off westbound down W. 10th Street, according to police.
The victim sustained a minor injury to her head and refused medical attention at the scene.
