Thief who pulled switchblade on employee at Manhattan Burlington sought

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are looking to identify a man who pulled out a switchblade at an employee during a robbery at the Burlington store in Chelsea.

According to officials, just after 5 p.m., on Sunday, May 7, the suspect exited the Burlington store located at 707 Avenue of the Americas without paying for an undisclosed amount of goods.

The suspect then displayed a switchblade to a store employee before fleeing the location with the stolen property.

There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.

The suspect is believed to be approximately 30-40 years old and was last seen wearing a red hat, a blue jean jacket, multi-colored pants, white shoes and carrying bags.
