Thief sought for forcing woman to withdraw cash at Park Slope ATM

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 20-year-old woman was forced to go to a Brooklyn ATM with a "simulated" gun on Christmas Day, police said as they searched for the suspected thief.

The brazen robbery happened around 4:40 p.m. Sunday in front of 498 7th Ave. in Park Slope.

According to the police, the victim was approached from behind by a man who pretended to have a gun and demanded money.

The suspect then led the victim to a nearby ATM, where he removed $200 and fled in an unknown direction.
