NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A thief stole an e-scooter from a 4-year-old boy in Brooklyn this week, police said Friday.
The child was riding the scooter on 12th Avenue, between 36th Street and Chester Avenue, in Kensington at 10 p.m. Wednesday when someone came up and asked him, "Where's your mommy?"
The thief shoved the boy off of the scooter and then fled with it, police said.
The boy was not physically injured in the robbery.
Police said his parents reported the incident.
