NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Disturbing video shows a man being robbed at gunpoint on a Brooklyn sidewalk.
The NYPD released video of the robbery Friday as police searched for a suspect in the June 16 mugging in Crown Heights.
Police said a 29-year-old man was walking on Prospect Place, between Rogers and Nostrand avenues, around 11:30 p.m. when a man came up and flashed a gun at him.
Video shows the robber, gun in hand, walking up to the victim, who puts his belongings on the pavement and then lies on his stomach.
Police said the thief fled eastbound on Prospect Place after the robbery.
The victim was not physically injured, police said.
