NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a group who sprayed their victims with an unknown substance during a string of robberies in Queens, authorities said.
The first incident happened at approximately 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 19 when a 21-year-old man arranged to meet with the suspects in front of 73-46 194 St. in Fresh Meadows, to whom he intended on selling a Rolex watch to.
Just after 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 23, a 32-year-old man arranged to meet the suspects to whom he intended on selling a watch to, within the vicinity of 156th Street and Horace Harding Expressway in Fresh Meadows, the NYPD said.
At approximately 5 p.m. on Monday, December 12, a 24-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman arranged to meet with the suspect in front of 81-23 189th St. in Fresh Meadows to whom they intended on selling a handbag to.
According to officials, during each meetup, the suspects discharged an unknown substance into the face of each victim and stole their merchandise before fleeing.
Minor injuries were reported in each incident, cops said.
