
NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – Police on Wednesday released surveillance footage of two burglars wanted for stealing about $80,000 in jewels from a Chinatown mall last month.
At approximately 1 a.m. on Sunday, March 10, the men forcibly entered a jewelry store located at 75 East Broadway.
Once inside, the thieves stole approximately $80,000 worth of jewelry, officials said.
The suspects then fled the location in a taxi to parts unknown.
There were no injuries reported.
The first suspect was last seen wearing a fur winter hat and a grey vest.
The second suspect was last seen wearing a fur winter hat and a yellow protective jacket.
