NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Two men are wanted for a series of robberies in Harlem and the Bronx targeting employees of two delis and a dry cleaning business.

The first robbery occurred on April 4 around 4 p.m. at a dry cleaning business at 617 Lenox Avenue in Harlem. The duo entered the business with a gun drawn and demanded money. One of the men stood as a lookout while the other took cash from the register. He also stole money from the wallet and pockets of an 80-year-old employee and a 40-year-old employee, police said.
On April 20, the pair, along with three other men, entered a deli at 216 East 170 Street in the South Bronx with guns. While three of the men acted as lookouts, two others robbed the store and employees. One of the men pointed a gun at a 41-year-old employee’s head before hitting him with it and taking $300 from his pocket. The other man took $400 from the register and a 31-year-old employee’s cellphone, officials said.

Just five days later, the duo struck again in Harlem. Around 8:40 p.m., the men entered a deli at 527 Lenox Avenue demanding cash and property. One of the thieves hit a 19-year-old victim with a gun in the head and face before stealing a cellphone and cash from him. The other man went to the cash register and stole $800 cash, authorities said.
The individuals are described as dark-skinned males, approximately 20 to 25 years of age.
