NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A Canadian tourist was stabbed while tying his shoe in an unprovoked attack near Bryant Park on Monday evening, sources said.

The victim, a 44-year-old man, had bent over to tie his shoe at West 40th Street and Sixth Avenue around 5:30 p.m. when he felt a pain in his left leg, sources told 1010 WINS.

The victim realized he’d been stabbed and was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue in stable condition.

No arrests had been reported as of Tuesday.
