NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A trio of attackers hurled a cinder block at one man's head and hit another man in the head with a plastic crate during a robbery in the Bronx that was caught on surveillance camera, the NYPD said.
The 25- and 47-year-old victims were in front of a building on Southern Boulevard, near Avenue St. John, in Hunts Point around 3:10 a.m. on July 7 when three other males of an unknown age approached them, police said.

After one of the attackers threw a cinder block at the 25-year-old man's head, he threw a plastic crate at the 47-year-old man and drop-kicked him, the NYPD said.
A second attacker then punched the 25-year-old man in the face while a third attacker hit both men with a plastic crate, police said.
The three attackers fled the scene with the 47-year-old man's wallet, which contained $450, according to police.
Both victims were taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln, where they were treated for pain and bruising, the NYPD said. They were in stable condition after the attack.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
