NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for a trio of thieves who allegedly robbed a man of $50 at knifepoint in Queens last month.
The 32-year-old man was near 161st Street and 65th Avenue in Pomonok around 3 p.m. on July 23 when three males of an unknown age approached him, the NYPD said.

When one of them flashed a knife and demanded the man hand over his belongings, he tried to run away, but dropped his phone in the process, police said.
One of the thieves then picked up the phone, took $50 from the man's wallet and handed the wallet back to him, the NYPD said.
The trio fled north on 161st Street after the robbery, police said.
