NEW YORK (WCBS 880) — Police are searching for the trio of thieves caught on video over the weekend robbing a bodega on the Upper East Side at gunpoint.
The incident happened at a store on the corner of York Avenue and E. 84th Street at 11:55 p.m. on Sunday.
Video released by police show the two robbers enter the store and confront the cashier. One man can be seen walking behind the register.
The two draw handguns once they corner the cashier and demand he hand over cash. A third acted as a lookout by the door.
The trio removed approximately $500 before fleeing eastbound on E. 84th Street.
No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
