NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police on Wednesday released surveillance footage of a trio of suspects accused of stealing thousands from a woman's safe at gunpoint in Brooklyn last month.

It happened at approximately 4 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 18, when the three suspects entered an apartment building located in the vicinity of Schenectady Avenue and East New York Avenue in Crown Heights, authorities said.

Once inside the building, the trio entered an apartment through an unlocked door and threatened a 55-year-old woman with a firearm, officials said.

The crew stole a safe containing approximately $15,000, a cellphone, and a watch, the NYPD said.

The suspect exited the building and fled to parts unknown.
