NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police released surveillance footage on Friday of a trio of suspects linked to a violent robbery pattern in Brooklyn earlier this week.
The spree began at approximately 4:25 p.m. on Wednesday at a deli at 354 Kings Highway, where the suspects brandished a knife and kicked in a door to steal $500, officials said.
During the confrontation, a 47-year-old female employee injured her ankle while attempting to flee, though she declined medical attention at the scene.
Just 15 minutes later, the same group reportedly targeted a spa at 2115 East 15th St. The suspects displayed a knife and caused physical damage to the interior of the business by kicking a door and a wall, police said. They fled on foot with $200.
Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
