RIVERHEAD, N.Y. (AP) — A truck and a school bus collided Monday on Long Island, prompting emergency responders to request assistance from multiple ambulances and police helicopters.
Authorities said it happened around 4:45 p.m. on Flanders Road in Riverhead. There was no immediate information on injuries or how many people may have been impacted.
Messages seeking comment have been left with Riverhead police and the Riverhead Central School District.
