NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – Former President Donald Trump’s sister, Maryanne Trump Barry, was reportedly found dead in her Upper East Side apartment on Monday. She was 86.

Barry, a former federal judge, died at her home on Fifth Avenue, according to the New York Times , which cited multiple sources.

The NYPD confirmed that an 86-year-old woman was found dead at Barry's address on Fifth Avenue by crews responding around 4:30 a.m. to a report of a person in cardiac arrest.

The woman was found unresponsive inside a bedroom and pronounced dead at the scene, according to police, who didn't identify her by name.

The cause of death wasn't immediately clear, but police said there were no apparent signs of trauma. The medical examiner will investigate further.

Donald Trump, 77, hasn't publicly commented on the news.

Barry was first appointed to the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey in 1983. She was a senior judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit until her retirement in 2019.
