Ronny Jimenez Peralta and Cesar Jimenez Alonso were arrested in February after they allegedly kidnapped an unidentified male over a drug dispute, authorities said.

Phone records obtained by narcotics officers show messages exchanged between Jimenez-Alonso and the kidnapping victim in which Jimenez-Alonso tells him “There is no consideration in this situation. Because of this, brothers will end up killing each other.”

Both Jimenez-Alonso and Jimenez-Peralta allegedly kidnapped the victim on Jan. 31, covering his head in a ski mask while both armed, and transporting him to the basement of a Bronx home. According to authorities, Jimenez-Alonso and Jimenez-Peralta tied up the victim’s hands and ankles and burned his buttocks with a hot iron.

The kidnapping victim was released a few hours later, officials said.
Jimenez-Alonso and Jimenez-Peralta also allegedly threatened a second victim, telling him “If you are interested in keeping your family and yourself safe, all you have to do is get what belongs to me.”

New York Drug Enforcement agents, NYPD officers and State police performed a search of the Bronx apartment after a surveillance of Jimenez-Alonso and Jimenez-Peralta where they found 4.2 kilograms of heroin, fentanyl, cocaine, and para-fluorofentanyl with an estimated street value of over $1 million. Authorities also discovered items connected to the kidnapping including plastic handcuffs and an iron.

The duo was arrested on Feb. 1 and face a slew of charges including criminal possession of a controlled substance and kidnapping in the second degree.

“This kidnapping exposes the brutality associated with drug trafficking," said DEA Acting SAC Tim Foley. "DEA is focused on bringing to justice the drivers of violence and drug overdoses in our communities, like Jimenez-Peralta and Jimenez-Alonso. This two-day enforcement operation took law enforcement throughout New York City and surrounding counties to unmask the kidnappers and seize over a million dollars' worth of cocaine, fentanyl, and heroin. I applaud the heroic efforts by the DEA, NYC Office of the Special Narcotics Prosecutor and all our law enforcement partners who assisted with these arrests.”
