NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — Police are searching for two armed men accused of pistol-whipping an Uber driver in a Brooklyn robbery earlier this month.

It happened at approximately 10:18 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19, when a 47-year-old man working as an Uber driver picked up the suspects in front of 747 Crown St. in Crown Heights, officials said.

The men entered the victim’s vehicle, displayed a firearm and demanded money and a cellphone, authorities said.

When the victim did not comply with their demands, the duo struck him in the head with the firearm, causing lacerations to the head.

Both suspects exited the vehicle without any property.

One suspect fled on foot eastbound on Crown Street and the other fled on foot westbound, both disappearing to parts unknown, cops said.

The victim sustained minor injuries and bruising. EMS transported him to University Hospital of SUNY Downstate Medical Center in stable condition.

The first suspect was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants and black sneakers.

The second suspect was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt with white lettering, black sweatpants and dark-colored sneakers.
