NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — An unlicensed 16-year-old driver crashed head-on into a school bus in Westchester Wednesday afternoon, according to the New Castle Police Department.

The teenage boy was driving a 2016 Honda Accord with three passengers around 2:13 p.m., when he lost control while rounding a curve on Lake Road near Crow Hill Road in Mount Kisco, according to officials.

The car crossed into the opposite lane and hit the Yorktown Central School District bus.

Emergency rushed all four occupants of the Accord to Westchester Medical Center with life threatening injuries.

The NCPD said all of passengers on the bus were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, but did not confirm whether any students were on board when the crash occurred.

ABC7 reported at least nine people were hospitalized.
