NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police are searching for up to six suspects in the fatal stabbing of a man in Bushwick, Brooklyn, on Thursday afternoon.
The 24-year-old victim was stabbed once in the chest at 1123 Halsey St. shortly before 3:40 p.m.
He was rushed in critical condition to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. He was later identified as Shaliek Smith, of Brooklyn.
No arrests have been reported as police investigate what prompted the stabbing.
They're searching for five or six people who they believe were involved in whatever led up to the attack.
