NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- Fire officials worked to put out a massive blaze at a building under construction in Brooklyn early Monday morning, authorities said.
The fire erupted at the five-story building located near the intersection of Nostrand and Gates Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant just after 5:50 a.m.
FDNY units responded to the two-alarm fire at the building which quickly collapsed, officials said.

Video posted on Citizen showed flames and heavy smoke billowing from the building as FDNY firefighters continued to work on extinguishing the fire.
There were no injuries reported and officials believe squatters were inside the building at the time of the blaze.
Authorities are looking to determine the cause of the fire.
