NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A car crashed into a Queens restaurant in a shopping plaza Tuesday night, causing a child to be hospitalized, according to fire officials.
At around 8:45 p.m. fire units responded to a call to a crash at the LaGuardia Shopping Center located at 43-02 Ditmars Boulevard in Astoria, the FDNY said.

One child was taken to a local hospital after the crash, FDNY officials said.
Authorities did not release further information on the child's condition or injuries.
Police tape was seen around a sedan that had crashed through the glass front window of a Subway sandwiches restaurant in the plaza, according to a video from Citizen App.
Officials are investigating the cause of the crash.
