Victim chases knife-wielding man who pushed, robbed her inside Queens Bank of America

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is searching for a knife-wielding woman who they say robbed another woman at a Queens ATM before she was chased down by the victim, officials said.

The incident occurred at approximately 9 p.m. on Friday, September 3rd, when the suspect approached a 30-year-old woman while she was using the ATM inside of the Bank of America located at 175-57 Hillside Avenue in Jamaica, authorities said.

According to police, the suspect pushed the victim out of the way, and withdrew $1,000 cash from the ATM.

The suspect then ran out of the bank and was chased down by the victim.

She then brandished a knife and threw $240 cash on the floor before running into the 179 Sutphin Avenue subway station, the NYPD said.
