Victim kicked, slashed during dispute outside Manhattan fast food joint, attacker sought

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are looking to identify a suspect sought in an violent attack outside of a Manhattan chicken joint last week, authorities said.

Just after midnight on Saturday, Dec. 31, a 34-year-old man was in front of the Village Chicken & Burger restaurant located at 1739 Amsterdam Ave. in Hamilton Heights when he was approached by suspect.

According to officials, a verbal dispute ensued and escalated into a physical altercation.

The suspect kicked the victim multiple times in the back and then slashed him with an unknown object in the left arm before fleeing on foot to parts unknown.

EMS transported the victim to NYC Health and Hospitals/Harlem, where he is listed in stable condition.

The suspect was last seen wearing a black North Face jacket, black pants, black Nike Jordan sneakers, a purple hooded sweatshirt and a black mask.
