NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police arrested 11 people at a Black Lives Matter protest near Times Square on Friday night in which two officers and a news reporter were injured, the NYPD said.
Protesters clashed with police at W. 54th Street and Sixth Avenue around 9 p.m.
Citizen App video shows a peaceful protest in Times Square before the protesters wound up at Sixth Avenue, where the clashes took place. There were about 100 demonstrators in all.

A 19-year-old man was arrested for resisting arrest and assaulting two officers, police said. He faces felony assault charges after allegedly kicking one officer and biting another officer's leg.
The other 10 people who were arrested face minor unlawful assembly charges.
A photographer for the Daily News was also injured, according to police. The newspaper reported that the photographer was attacked by 10 to 15 protesters and believed he suffered a broken nose.
Police said they don't believe anyone who was arrested was involved in the attack on the reporter. They said they're still looking for a suspect.
