The NYPD released chaotic video Friday of the group attacking the 44-year-old victim at Eastern Parkway and Franklin Avenue in Crown Heights during Monday’s festivities.
The victim was attending the annual celebration around 7 p.m. when 12 people started to punch and kick him in the head and body in an unprovoked attack, police said.
Someone in the group then whipped out a knife and slashed the victim in his torso, according to police.
Other people in the group then stole two chains from his neck, as well as his cellphone, car keys and wallet, which contained bank cards and cash, police said.

The group fled the scene, while the victim was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County in stable condition.
Police had increased security in the area for the parade and J’Ouvert this year, including checkpoints and extra manpower.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
