NEW YORK (WCBS 880) – Police are searching for eight people after a man was beaten, slashed and robbed on a Bronx street this week.
The NYPD released surveillance video of the group they're searching for Thursday, two days after the violent robbery in Fordham Manor.
Police said the 21-year-old victim was standing in front of a building at West Kingsbridge Road and Jerome Avenue around 9:20 p.m. Tuesday when he was surrounded.

The group kicked and punched him, and also slashed him in the face with a cutting instrument, police said.
They then stole his Android cellphone and fled the area, according to police.
The victim was transported by EMS to an area hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
