VIDEO: Attacker stabs man, steals his e-scooter in Queens

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — An attacker stole a man’s electric scooter after stabbing him in the chest and slashing his neck in Queens on Saturday, the NYPD said.

The 51-year-old man was standing in front of a building on Greenpoint Avenue, near 46th Street, in Sunnyside around 1:50 a.m. when another man tried to grab his scooter, police said Tuesday.

When the 51-year-old resisted, the man stabbed him in the torso with a knife and slashed his neck, the NYPD said.

The man fled the scene with the scooter after the attack, police said. The 51-year-old was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst in stable condition, the NYPD said.
