NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD is searching for a suspect who beat a Bronx deli worker and attacked him with a glass bottle earlier this month.

The assailant was arguing with a 28-year-old employee at the deli on the corner of 163rd and Simpson streets in Hunts Point on Monday, Aug. 16, when he began physically attacking the worker.

Another employee can be seen quickly jumping in to break up the beatining.

The male employee was left with lacerations to his nose and left wrist and was transported to Lincoln Hospital.

The suspect, pictured in a dark short-sleeve jersey and shorts,  fled in an unknown direction.
