NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 31-year-old man was slashed in the cheek during a Bronx robbery last week, police said Wednesday as they released surveillance video of the incident.
According to police, on March 10, around 10 p.m., an unidentified male approached the victim in front of an apartment building at 735 Magenta Street and displayed a knife before slashing him in the left cheek.
Authorities said the suspect then stole the victim’s cellphone and a wallet, which contained approximately $40.
The assailant is approximately 6 feet tall and weighs 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie sweater, black pants and black sneakers.
